Dog Training Covid-19 Update – Keeping you, your family and your dog safe and well
It continues to be a difficult time for everyone and it’s our duty to keep each other safe and well. Here at It’s A Dog’s Life I want to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all my clients, their dogs and our community, which is why I adhere to strict health and hygiene measures as I carry out my dog training services - and I'll continue to do so as restrictions are slowly lifted and more people are vaccinated.
My extensive hygiene and social distancing measures include:
- Wearing a face covering at all times, and I request clients to do the same
- I will always maintain a minimum 2 metre distance and ask windows are opened for good ventilation
- I bring my own towel and hand sanitiser to appointments
- My clients’ safety is my utmost priority and I will postpone appointments if I feel they may be unsafe
Just like other professionals such as plumbers and electricians, who have to carry out work in peoples’ homes, I also provide a service that needs to be done in person.
There has been a huge increase in dog ownership over the past year, with many people seeking a four-legged companion during lockdown, and it’s vitally important these family members are trained effectively.
By following government guidelines I am able to carry on providing one to one dog training sessions and am pleased to say I can continue doing the job I love and help people and their beloved pets.
Please get in touch if you have any questions about my safety measures or would like to know more about my dog training services.
