Dog walking and dog sitting
Most experts agree that we shouldn't leave our dogs on their own for more than 4 hours at a time on a regular basis. Unfortunately, with increasingly busy life styles, longer and longer working hours and with the best will in the
world, this is not always practical or possible.
Like us, dogs are highly sociable and most do not like being left for long periods of time, and in some cases, suffer from separation anxiety, which may manifest itself as unwanted behaviour such as howling, destructiveness and so on.
Owners themselves may also feel stressed when they have leave their pet for long periods of time. Particularly if it also means not being able to give your canine family member as much exercise as you'd like to.
The answer for many is to use a dog walker.
Here at it's a dog's life we don't simply walk your dog. We break up your pets day with a good walk and plenty of opportunities to have fun and socialise with other dogs and humans. We even have a small agility course for extra entertainment!
